Day of Silence is an annual day of action to spread awareness about the effects of the bullying and harassment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBTQ+) students. To participate, students take a day-long vow of silence to represent the silencing of LGBTQ+ students.
If you're interested in participating in DOS at Franklin, please come to the GSA classroom, HR1, before testing or school on Friday, April 21st to pick up a ribbon. We'll have more information available in the classroom.
After school on Friday, GSA will hold a break-the-silence ceremony.
